Force Trax BS6 is a new ladder-frame chassis that is claimed to be stronger than before with increased torsional rigidity. The UV is powered by a BSVI-compliant version of the 2.6-litre Mercedes-derived diesel engine that powered the BSIV model. It has been updated to offer a higher power of 91 PS and an increased torque of 250 Nm. The motor comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. While the front wheels get disc brakes, the rear get drums. The Force Trax BS6 is also bigger than the BS4 version. However, all the four trims of the BS6 Trax measure exactly the same, which is 5,120mm in length, 1,818 mm in width and 2,027 mm in height. The updated model has a wheelbase is 3,050mm and a ground clearance of 160mm (laden). It rides on 15-inch steel wheels that come adorned with wheel caps. The rims are shod with 215/75 tyres.
