I said this on another of your ForceBook reactions but I don't think you saw it. They've known each other since kindergarten. Also Book has a bad past with friends turning their backs on him which made it hard for him to open up to Force which is one of the reasons they're so close. Force was persistent and kept going to Book to be his friend.
