Funny story: I listened to this song in 2007 and learned it on piano, then couldn't for the life of me find the track in my library again. I didn't know the name of the song or what album it was on. So I went around playing the guitar verse on piano for five years, making up my own words, and only today did I rediscover the song and solve the mystery.

Ah man, college... fuck. I had every pinback album on an iTunes playlist and would just kinda hit shuffle and go. Made for a surprisingly good playlist for knights of the old republic...

Seems to be about wanting to quit taking drugs but can't. That's where this song and I crossed paths anyway. I have since given it all up and still get taken back to the spooky room with this tune.

It was tricky and its hard to do it at the 52 exactly its better to listen to it then hit play when its time for beat to starts pause a split second to catch up if needed mine hit around 49 or 50 i think... worth it tho

@oodlezay Hey atleast now you do know of this song, it's one of my favorite Pinback tracks, definitely in the top 5. If you haven't heard Trainer yet, you should check it out. It's on my channel. Give it a few good listens before you decide your likeness of it. I didn't like it at first, but then it grew on me. :D thanks for the comment

Hey brother, first of all thanks for all of the fantastic uploads. I know this comment is ancient but I took your suggestion and checked out Trainor. It didn't even take one full listen to fall in love with, great song. You should check out some Failure, start with Fantastic Planet. Later!

Ember Strike I think it's a drum machine. Most of their first album used a drum machine like this.

There’s a video of the two of them playing Serg and This Train using some shitty Casio keyboard for the drum loop... quality stuff.
