I agree with you Kevin. Most camp area around here doesnt allow off road vehicles for that reason

Kevin, you mentioned your foot starting to hurt again. Please consider wearing some type of support shoe at all times. Flip flops are really only for the shower. You need more support than that. 💚

I just watched Nomadic Fanatic have to leave his camping spot but the campers there were way more rude they actually pitched their tents on his camping area and drove multiple noisy vehicles and had loud parties, sadly people like that ruin peaceful camping and can get those free camping areas shut down

I saw that as well. Why do some people think they can just do what ever they want…. Just Rude people! They are the ones who spoil places to use and next thing they close the area. Hang in there

Amazing place you did have, perfect place you could have had, and very awesome and perfect place you did from your live last night. I'm sorry that some people are just inconsiderate of others. Barrett with the rocks being thrown into the water was pretty special though. Keep happy and safe, Kevin! Positive and healing vibes sent for all.

I was so happy yesterday when I saw you at Lake Pend Oreille! It is such a beautiful area and could have been a restful and peaceful place for all of you! My husband and I have done a lot of RV camping and for the most part have met incredibly friendly and courteous people from all around the world. I even owned a KOA Campground over in Richardson Grove, CA for about 6 years. Unfortunately, on both sides of my experience, We found those few people that seem to only consider themselves and their own interests when out camping. They don’t seem to recognize how much the sound from their conversations and activities carry throughout the area they are camping in and how it encroaches on other camper’s enjoyment. Like you, as a camper, we either had the choice of reporting their discourteous behavior with the hope they would correct it or find ourselves moving on to another area! As the owner of our KOA, we always tried to patrol the campground and point out to campers when their activities needed to be less disturbing to the whole campground and always gave them a chance to correct the situation. If we found they continued to disregard the camp rules, they were invited to leave. Thankfully, we seldom had problems. Kevin, I feel so badly that you didn’t get the opportunity to fully enjoy your time at Lake Pend Oreille. My prayer is that you will quickly find an equally beautiful area that is peaceful and restful! ❤️🙏

Rude people suck. Most people go camping for the peace & quiet & views. If they want to ride atvs etc., they should go to a spot that won't disturb others. I understand how you feel. I've been to campgrounds and had rude people come in after we were set up. One was in a motor home, ran a generator most of the day & late into the night, blared tv or stereo most of the day. Totally ruined it. I left 2 days early. It was very disappointing.

The spot by the river would have been big enough for both of you to enjoy, and I bet the noise would have been greatly reduced. Could have moved one over each and shared that amazing waterside. Who knows, maybe they wouldn't have even moved. I know what you're saying, and I'm right there with you, but it is so beautiful there to me I'd work pretty hard to enjoy it.

The last time I went tent camping, at Howard Prairie. Huge group camping above us. Partying, loud voices, loud music, drunk minors walking around at 2 a.m.....then they started FIGHTING. Some woman literally screaming as though she were being killed; to be fair, it DID turn into a brawl. Was too out of control for the camp hosts. The cops showed up, TWICE.

9 a.m.? Oh gee...most people are up by then, and most actual paid campgrounds have quiet time that ends before then. Some don't like free roaming dogs that bark, but they deal with it. Sorry, but perhaps moving was the best thing you could do under the circumstances. Stop complaining...life is too short! So your dogs didn't get to play in the water and you didn't get to sleep until noon...look in the mirror before you fuss about the behavior of others!
@TheNomocExperience2 жыл бұрын
Wow! Would not have expected this from you. And please remember to praise in public and scorn in private. I expected more from you Kathleen.
@borandell99152 жыл бұрын
I think you are right on this Kathleen. Quiet time is generally only about 8:pm - 8:am at most campsites. That allows for generators at the morning and evening meals. Whether its barking dogs, or kids having fun, or drunks on side by sides, it's part of camping when that close to a popular place with easy access. So, I go deep, deep, deep, into the woods to get away from the noise. Just check your tone a little bit (LOL). These are two really good guys. There is wisdom in your advice, but we all have a bad day. Peace.
@kathleenkline46222 жыл бұрын
@@TheNomocExperience Perhaps being able to accept criticism doesn't resonate with some. What I was attempting to point out is that you do not own the camping experience, and everyone does it differently. If a lot of people were mad (thumbnail), why not go discuss the matter calmly with the offenders? Perhaps they don't know any better? And, remember that parents tend to get to a point where they tune out the noise made by their children, just as dog owners seem to become immune to their pets barking. When it's brought to their attention by others, they either become defensive or realize that they've created a problem and attempt to correct it to everyone's satisfaction. In this case, you were able to move to a spot where you could enjoy your experience. And as to you expecting more from me...I deleted a lot of what I had to say, Your opinion of me only matters if I decide to let it.

Growing up camping all the time with Mom and Dad and 5 siblings, we NEVER DISRUPTED ANYONE'S CAMPING EXPERIENCE BY BEING JERKS! Our parents actually raised us with manners and respect. @The Nomoc Experience, I don't blame you bit, Kevin, for being upset with your noisy, rude, thoughtless camp neighbors! 🏕🦉🏞🏔🏜🌲🐿🐾🇺🇸🐕🦺🦮
