I love the format of this video. You are a great story teller, and quite an artist! I lived in a very old house (built in the 1860s) when I was in grade school. Although the vibe of most of the house was ok from what I remember, there was one room that was locked at the end of the hall. It always creeped me out. I'll never forget that locked door. We never attempted to enter it, but I often wonder what was in there.

Thanks so much! I bet that locked room was best kept that way!

Really enjoyed watching you paint your pumpkin while sharing your stories with us! It’s beautiful! Your photography is great - amazed you had no one in the Wells Hotel while filming. Thanks for sharing - I’m a scaredy-cat when it comes to haunted places! Stay safe! 🎃

My parents looked at houses that had dark energy. Needless to say, they didn't buy it. The house grew up was built in the 1880s and had a kind energy about it. Even though it was cold in the winter.

I think it’s so interesting how different places can retain energies.

Yikes. @8:18 Your poor mother....All alone (when your dad was away) trying to keep her children safe from the 'unknown.' That must have had an effect on all of you. It doesn't look like anyone is living in that house anymore. (Built in 1860) It would be nice to go there before it's too late and > Talk to some old timers in the area....see what they know about that old orphanage / Foster house > Name of the owner? Search the Court house / they would have all the Land records for the owners of the property and house. Death Records of children that died during that time. (also online) > Does your sister remember the type of Clothing the 2 girls were wearing? What time period? > What YEAR did it operate? > I wonder....if there are any of the children....buried in the Woodlawn Cemetery..... next door? > Find-A-Grave is a great site....it has that Cemetery listed (many others) with the names / dates.... of who was buried there.

Most excellent! I hope you can go back to the house soon. I too lived in a haunted house with my 3 children and their dad. We heard children's voices, doors would open and close etc. In the stairway up to the attic someone had written in cryptic black letters They stole my children's childhood". I always felt a woman's presence and she felt like my protector. We found a miniature casket in the rafters in the stone basement with Maddies ashes. I love old houses. 🧡🤍🍁
