It’s big business now which is putting so many lives at risk. If you can afford to pay £50k plus they’ll let you climb it regardless of skill and at the detriment to everyone else.

Ilvan Nakuc Hi...he did mention the Sherpa in another interview...he said he tried to get him to move but Sherpa kept telling him he wants to sleep....he had to go on without him

hey hey monkey wrong Sherpa I'm afraid. The story is true but it wasn't Ant's Sherpa, he was ahead of him after trying to get Ant to descend earlier. Btw without the Sherpa non of us would achieve the high altitudes in Nepal. They are gods amongst men at altitude and keep many a tourist safe on the mountains. I take my hat off to them all and especially the ones who have been my guide and I would hope friends during my times in Nepal.

The point he's making is that they are incompetent. I imagine ant has been through extensive training for all terrains and is incredibly fit. There are people climbing the mountain that can't handle the challenge and shouldn't be there.
