I love whenever you drop videos on this channel. I find that I resonate heavily. I've seen how environments shape who you become. I tried to shape my environment to tune towards progress of building my startup, even when I was tired/lazy. This may be sound psychotic, likely is spectrum tendencies that allow me to enjoy this as I have ADHD and came to the realization I'm also on the spectrum from your previous video on autism. To build my startup over the last year since moving back home with my parents post college, I converted my entire personal environment to be a system that reinforces a system of progress. - Converted a room to a live in studio. No leisure furniture. Only have a variable standing desk, desk chair, modular cubby blocks around and twin bed. Incentivizes work, and allows for reorganization of the room when I'm bored - I want my ideas to be easily written. Anywhere. So I have a giant 6ft whiteboard on the wall, iPad with pencil, and Apple Notes is my best friend. - I wanted to be inspired and mindful of my past accomplishments. I have an entire wall of decor. My guitar, mixology set, clothes from my college clothing brand, and other things that remind me of my prior accomplishments/experiences - External alarm to keep me from snoozing and make me go to the gym - Quick clip camera mounts all around the room to make shooting content fast - Cubby system for clothing so I don't have to think hard about an outfit (also is a 2 weeks supply like yours) - I downsized from a queen to a twin size bed as I didn't want distractions. Was a problem in college plus made more room for shooting. So far focus has been great lol An Apple Vision Pro has been the biggest gamechanger. I'll regularly have dozens of Apple notes/inspiration screenshots while working on a full size display. Plus I can be equally productive ANYWHERE, from my office to the coffee shop to a friend's place. It's allowed me to do some travel freelancing while continuing to work on my startup. Media diet wise, I really appreciate a lot of your videos. I have some influencers I look to keep ideas of business in my mind. You have taught me so much about not only AI, but honestly about the frameworks of generally everything and made me look at the world with a renewed lense/way of thinking I hadn't before. Plenty of times your older videos would keep me going and inspire me to keep working in the up and coming field of AI. For that, truly, thank you so much David. Your content has been pivotal to the system of my life and current accomplishments.

Tiny Habits, Atom Habits and, The Power of Habit outline the similar concepts of cuing habits and habit chaining. Essentially, you engineer your environment so that cues that activate desired behaviors are obvious and omnipresent while cues that activate undesirable behaviors are removed. You also chain behaviors so that the desired behavior is at the end of a series of behaviors that flow into the next automatically, where in first habit has minimal friction.
