I've worked on those tractors for yrs, when they run they run forever and when you have a problem sometimes it takes forever to fix it.. use a flathead screwdriver to move the teeth on the flywheel so you can see the mark, when using a hand crank better off taking the #1 plug out, its very easy to pass your marks using hand crank.. when you get timing marks put it between 6-8 so you can advance timing or decrease timing and still be within your timing marks and 1# plug.. points gap is .25 and get a points cover before the distributor cap goes on, it may allow moisture into the points and the cap may sit down further and the rotor may hit the cap as it spins and won't rub the conductors to send spark through the wires..

So good to.know. thank you

Why did you take the dust cover off? The distributor step belongs on there. Why you think it was on there to begin with?

@@duanebolen543 the distributor doesn't need a dust cover

lmao, you didn't change the distributor position at all. It was clocked 180 degrees off. You did change the 4 plug wire to the one, then messed up the rest. its not timed 1-2-3-4. The timing sequence is 1-3--4-2 ccw

I know it's not 1234, although many people argued with me If you look at one of the videos of me removing the head . Anyone can see the cylinder and see the spark timing. Yes, I show the spark plug wires go to the sequence of 1-3-4-2

i cant watch anymore. get on your knrrs after hooking the batery back up and take your left hand and just bump the starter and look for it get it close then use the crank good grief

Or remove #1 spark plug and insert a pencil or stick in there and wait for it to come up on the compression stroke 🤷♂️

Blah blah, blah blah blah blah blah. I watched this whole damn video waiting to hear the tractor run and never did.
