I know you blokes to a good job .. And I don't want to question a professional .. But is the engine just one of those standard freek engines that sometimes come off the showroom floor,? or did the owner not tell you it was a forged engine? Because a 35/40 turbo with ported waist gate on a standard exhaust manifold with a standard uncracked engine ain't guna flow 436rwkw through a standard manifold common.

The engine is a factory fg lpg motor with bolt on bits. Not a bullet proof combination unfortunately. This car is currently at another shop having a new engine built as the previous ones life ended due to issues being such high compression bit after a year once leaving bta. Bta are very good at what they do, however this combination was pushed to hard. No fault of Bta.

hi Nathan basically detonation was the case a compression test carried out by another reputable tuning shop reveled a 33% loss of compression in two cylinders blow by was evident. Rebuild was required.. but owner sold it for peanuts and moved on. Valuable lesson learned there I think...

A costly mistake It goes to show don't buy someone else's problem... From what I hear the owner bought a new FGX XR8.. doubt they will be taking it to bta for a tune. lol

430rwkw on a pre 06/06 (non BF2/FPV) bottom end is too much. This combination should not have been pushed much further than 350rwkw to remain reliable.

the engine in this car is a 4L barra, you dont need alot of psi to make insane power. Ive seen BarraT running 26psi making 1000hp with water/emth injection and a LPG fuel system not e85 or 98 lol

These have Australian developed and engineered engines and chassis so it's part of ford yes, but it comes under ford Australia not ford in America. Example: Americans get the Taurus and the crown Victoria from back in the day, Australia never got those because they were manufactured by the ford America division and developed for American roads. Xr6s are only in Australia. You can import them I believe to the the states which would be worth it cause they are fucking quick when they are stock even. But for d America may not be able to help you if it shits the bed :)

BeyondEllisBeck Ford Australia's parent company is Ford, but they do have their own budgets and operate as if they're independent. This has its pros and cons, like we don't get the Raptor, just got the Mustang but not the 350, and we're paying over 50k for the ecoboost V6.Holden/GM, same deal - no Corvettes sold here, no Charger/Challenger. Don't complain my friend, yous have it alot better there.
