I'm about to pull my '21 OBX out of winter storage, and like you, live under an over reaching government, and need a front plate too. Once I saw what Ford's idea was, I told the dealer not to install the bracket. Ultimately, I made the wrong choice and did not selected the MOD bumper, so have been looking to either replace the bumper, or find a bracket that will work

I was going to replace the bumper partly for that very reason, but between the parking sensors, camera and especially the adaptive cruise control module, I had to rethink that and came up with this solution for now.

I been looking at broncos for a while now and I kept wondering if the plate being up so high was a mistake but more of them had it.. then I was worried about those holes being in the bumper.. almost a deal breaker .. why in the world ? scary stuff

Great Job !!!. I have thr bumper with the flip up tow hooks, my bash plate is steel. I went with thr built rite plate holder which does cover a tow hook. Not a big deal for me. I put it on thr drivers side not passanger side. Now some models have an addition pre collision assist sensor near the toe hook but i dont see one on mine. Trust me inwanted thr modular bumper , but im lucky i got rhr car at all. Sooner or later more aftermarket bumpers will be available . What i need is a brush guard. Any ideas for that??? No idea on a brush guard. I don't think we'll be able to get one. Too many sensors on this Outer Banks model. ☹️

Your bumper is not all plastic, it has a few locations that are plastic… It’s a steel bumper.
