Ford I’ve always bought fords but honestly can’t see my next one being a Ford they seriously need to sit and listen to the enthusiasts and car groups even the salespersons can’t get excited about them

Owned two 3.0 Ghia in early 80s. First was resprayed brown/gold with brown vinyl roof and gold alloys WEH 949S. 2nd was 'mint green' WAT 708X. Great motorway cruisers and the birds were quite impressed.... #goodolddays

The Capri should've been a back to basics sports car with a 2 litre i4 and a 6 speed manual It should've been a market competitor to the Subaru BRZ This things gonna be competing just to stay in production for more than a year

In 1994 I owned a Capri. This is not a Capri. It is a glorified milk float. What is worse is that Msr. Cantona has sold his soul to market it. I somehow doubt that he would do the same for a Frech "re-invention" of a French icon. Sad days

As a Capri driver and passenger since 1969 , the Capri was a two door car that the average person could afford , also I can’t believe that the top speed of your milk float is 111mph ? I think you have made a mistake with what you’re doing and could this be the end of ford ?

It’s a decent-ish car. Just absolutely no need to brand it under the Capri name. Same with the Mustang Mach-E, it’s fine I guess, but why on earth would you call it a Mustang? The world already has enough crossover SUVs. Ford already has enough Crossover SUVs. Just stop. I know it’s for some reason what everyone wants at the minute but making multiple of the same car with a few visual changes isn’t the way forward.

Why some washed up footballer is trying to convince us its not a 2 door Sports Coupe with a wide range of petrol engines is beyond me🤣 Perhaps if you called it Mondeo it would have been more accepted,but then something new should have had its own identity...

Here it is, the modern world - for the sake of marketing, to assign the name of another car, which has nothing to do with "this" 💩. They didn't even develop it themselves, but just take the VW ID4
