Yay! Jimmy is pulling in business. You wont have to worry about him and business. From what I see, he works on the small details to make it right. Word about that kind of work spreads around the community. I've said it before, check out salvage yards first thing, you really do save a pile of money for the same parts.

great update vlog martin, that capri is comin along nicely and now its had a lick of paint you cant see the repair work that you done its just like new. i remember that Astra its virtually identical to garys. thanks for sharing this update video with us and its a big thumbs up from me

Thanks Dave, yes I'm pleased with my repairs and the spray job is great. It does look like Gary's but Gary's is a VXR, the other Astra is dressed up to look like one. Still a quick car though. Cheers Martin

The Capri's come out great. At £10 from a breaker, that fuel filter casing is a no-brainer. Most of the diesels have the fuel filter in the engine bay which makes it easier to get to.

Nice to see the regular uploads back Martin! Capri looking great! The filter housings are silly money. On a lot of renaults they are down in the o/s inner wing. Any prangs etc crushes the housing and it's about £468 from memory (going back from my active workshop repairing days 10 years ago) also just general fatigue as they get older splits them when changing the filter etc. An all round crap idea really!
