Really nice build, video and description. You probably discovered by now (as did almost every e-series owner) - heat only comes out in the lower vents on the drivers side floor and air conditioning only comes out in those ceiling vents. Nice cabinetry and wiring. I don't know how many of these I've watched and the wiring is a cluster with no breakers or fuses. They use wiring nuts for connectors (gasp). If that stuff isn't secure it's all going to come undone as they bounce and vibrate down the road. Something can ground out and a fire can easily start. Well done on yours!

@@drawersystems subbed when I heard that. Nice job! How does the suspension do on the 350 with that much weight? My 150 was squatty so I added 990 helper springs, which gave an inch, but I'm not convinced it was the right route.
@drawersystems4 жыл бұрын
There was no issue at all with weight. Since this was originally a passenger van, I removed 3 rows of seats which I’m 99% positive weighed more than everything I built and installed. I’m also pretty sure the E350 has a beefier suspension than a 150 or 250. Anyone else know for sure? Either way, no squat and no drive difference once I finished everything up. 😊

Until they learn... via apprenticeship, KZbin, etc. This was also unrelated to the argument as we're commenting on what Dave said, not the OP. You're merely attempting to deflect because you're incorrect. "I've created similar vans. Total cost, not including van, would be roughly $6,000 unless you spent frugally and repurposed materials." He literally said "I've created", meaning he did the labor, and "Not including van", meaning not including the van price. Which would mean 6k for the build. I love this build. The kitchen is almost exactly what I was planning for my build, so it was really nice to see it done and see how well it functions in the van. Thank you!

If I was younger and more flexible this would be awesome. great layout and craftsmanship! I have a tall E250 wheelchair modified van for my son that doubles as a weekend camping set up and I may borrow some of your excellent ideas and features. Well done!!
