Ishtiaq Raza-Hussein for the tech it’s got, you would pay 60k plus for a Audi or merc. The edge is mint and well worth the money

An st diesel for us was about £46,000. An Audi would be more expensive

There’s a 7 seater Edge sold for the Chinese market. It’s kinda boxy, so third row passengers can have some head room.

In Finland starting price is 67.000€, that's more than Volvo XC60, Bmw X3, Audi Q5, Mercedes GLC. And ford is not a premium brand, go figure :D

For your information the Landrover Discovery is 4970mm in length that's 136mm more than the Edge

How would you rate this against the Skoda Kodiaq? I'm torn between this (the ST-Line) and the Kodiaq vRS. Both have the same 2.0L twin-turbo Diesel; both have a huge amount of space (the Edge is bigger), both look great... the vRS has great bodyhugging alcantara seats but the seats in the Edge are soft and plush. vRS also has a nicer interior overall, and is much quicker than the Edge... BUT when financing either car, the Edge works out cheaper thanks to Ford's 0% finance deals (as opposed to 5.9% with Skoda), and the Edge has more toys available than the vRS. Help me decide!

I have the same dilemma.... i love them both.. love the edge st design in and out ( and its slightly bigger) but think the engine in vrs is better and think it drives better according to several reviews I've seen! Heart says edge. Brain says vrs.. 😅🤔

​@@nick-g8551 I don't think either car would be a bad choice. I agree that the vRS drives better. In fact they're kind of the opposite to each other: The vRS feels sporty and responsive and therefore doesn't feel as big as it actually is. The Edge with its high ride height does nothing to distract you from the fact that you're driving a two-tonne tank; if anything the roomy and spacious interior makes it feel like a bigger car than it is. Brain says Edge, for me - it has the space and Fords tend to hold their value well, and that 0% interest with Ford means you're only paying for the car. The vRS appeals to the 'driver' in me though, and still has a ton of space in the back. But - as I said - I don't think either of us will be disappointed with either of those cars.

I like this car but would never buy one as it only comes as an oil burner. It may want to compete with audi, volvo etc...... 🤔 The interior never will.

Overpriced. Interior is bland. For that price you can reach a massively superior Porsche Macan.

This is a much bigger and practical vehicle for families than the macan and better looking in my opinion.

It will blow a base Macan into orbit at that price. 4 cyl at 248 hp, with no options? For $50k? The US version of the ST is 335 hp, fully loaded at $50k.
