MySamisbest We haven't heard anything specifically yet, MySamisbest, but anything can happen. Our guess is that as long as the V6 sells well, there would not be a need for a V8, as the V6 makes more power and has better fuel efficiency (no matter how slight it may be) than the outgoing V8. Right now, fuel economy reigns supreme for high volume vehicles across all makes and models. Thanks for watching!

i know people love their v8s but if this v6 is putting out high numbers all way across the board why are yall crying about it not being a real truck. With 365hp and torque in the 400's and the highest rated towing numbers in its class makes it a better truck. Don't judge it until you drive it.

I have a 2015 expedition El xlt and the engine is a beast. You really don't know how much power it had to you drive it, I love driving it everyday and putting the foot all the way down.

An Eco-Boost V6 is working harder every day compared to a non turbo V8. Eco-Boost will burn bright and burn out much sooner. Show me an Eco-Boost with 500,000 miles that's still running strong without a rebuild and then we'll talk.

Great review. You missed the trailer tow haul mode. Also when you drive the Tahoe or Yukon the gas pedals feel numb where the Ford feels responsive. As well the steering in the Tahoe and Yukon feel slow ans numb as well where the Expedition feels responsive with very little effort. Hopefully ford makes the steering wheel a little thicker because the Tahoe and Yukon are thicker and it does feel better. Also the Tahoe and Yukon have 3rd row issues for adults because they still have solid rear axles and the suspension takes up room on the non extended models which makes the 3rd row less comfortable for adults where the expedition has independent rear suspension which gave engineers more room for 3rd row passengers making it the best for overall comfort on long trips even with kids. What i don't like about the expedition is the rear widow wiper. The Tahoe and Yukon have concealed theirs in the top spoiler making it much cleaner looking and easier to dry when your wash your vehicle. Lastly the Expedition feels more open because the dash is lower and the the belt line of the windows is lower in comparison to the Yukon and Tahoe which almost feel claustrophobic after driving in comparison to the Expedition.

We liked your video a lot. We ordered ours direct and kept watching this video all the time waiting for it to come in. We finally got it yesterday. Every option except the 22" wheels. Wow this thing is nice. I can't wait to try the towing apps with my trailer. With the dual turbo you don't miss the V8 at all. It will throw you back in the seat way better that the old V8. Love it!

Great video, the best I've seen on the 2015 Expedition so far. I hope to be able to get one of these soon. Ford does the 3rd row so much better than GM it's embarrassing, heck it was embarrassing a decade ago. Plus a turbocharged engine is easy to mod, I don't think it'd be too hard to get numbers that best GM's 6.2L.

2003 Expedition Owner: I have a 03 Expedition - V8 is a beast , but I neglected the truck until 149k.. I drove from NY to Alabama and back to NY .. Gas cost $225.. I did a lot of work prior to getting on the road.. My tip for any one owning a vehicle.. CHANGE YOUR OIL & FILTER OFTEN! Tune up and rotate tire with proper psi ... know you vehicle!!!.. O2 sensors are very very important!

Abigail Langille The 2015 Ford Expedition has what is called keyless start, Abigail Langille. You do still need to have the key fob inside of the vehicle for it to start, but then pushing the button is how you do it. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

The keyless start doesn't apply to all trims. I have a 2015 expedition el xlt and it uses a key. The key fob is included in the higher trims.

The amount of luxury this had in 2015 was too close to the Navigator in my opinion. This made the 2015 Navigator look like a premium Expedition. Thankfully Ford changed that in 2018.

I had a 2013 expedition so from experience I can tell you that the V6 ecoboost is waaay better. Like he said in the video, you get a flat power curve all the way through. It has so much torque it will accelerate without having to downshift, I could keep going on but it's hard to imagine a v6 powering a suv this big without trying it yourself.

The old V8 engine has more torque than the current ecoboost V6. trucks are known to have high torque for towing as heaviest as possible. I've also noticed that ford are decreasing their engine size in almost all of their cars to improve fuel economy.

You cant for get about the Nissan Armada its the only other Full size SUV that the third row seat sits off the ground like the Ford products. And at the same package and price point it is going to be released with a turbo diesel and the end of this year

OMG, it's not a truck, none of the vehicles mentioned in the video - (ie, GMC Yukon, Chevy Tahoe) are trucks. They are SUVs. They only things truckish about them is the body on frame. I get so annoyed when people refer to my suburban or my xc90 as trucks because they're not. That's why they are classified in a whole different segment called Sport Utility Vehicles, and not pickup trucks.

We hear you, Connor Gibbs, and as the years continue to pass with more and more crossovers and SUVs on the roads, their descriptors will continue to become more clear. For one, we agree with you that your XC90 is NOT a truck, not even in the way that this Expedition could be considered one. As you mentioned, the vehicle in our video has a body on frame platform, just like full-size pickup trucks, which is why they technically can still be described as trucks, kind of the same way that a shark is a fish or how pickups and semis are both trucks. But your XC90, that is a crossover built on a car chassis. And yes, they have been referred to as cars, too. LOL Sorry to frustrate you more, but thank you for sharing and for watching!
