What’s up guys.
On today’s video I will show you what happen to my truck for not having anti freeze
This is what happen
Truck had a small water leak so every time I was adding antifreeze it was fully leaking out every 3 days to 5 days , I could never found out where the leak was coming from ,
A cold wave hit Texas and because my truck didn’t have antifreeze the water froze and the Freeze plug popped out
This video it’s not exactly a fix I just wanted to upload it just so you guys can see what happen to my truck

actually the truth is, you did really good in view of the fact you didn't even know what to call it. Other KZbins showed easy stuff that anyone would already know. NO ONE showed what to do with a plug back against the firewall that is VERY difficult to reach. The plug you used is known, but only YOU showed it. You did great. Too bad the truck gave you headaches. The video you did was good my friend. Take heart. Lyle in Oregon

Put a COLD freeze plug in and do not pound it. The block should be warm. Once it is down in there start the engine with coolant in it. The freeze plug should warm up and expand from heat and set itself with no hammer needed.

Wow that looks easy on your end I also have F150 four 2001! I do believe my plugs are leaking on the passenger side. The driver side looks at solid be my first time doing it with my wife. Your video was awesome.

I'm just here to tell ya the Jan 2024 freeze got me. Same thing: my truck (1997 F-150 XLT 4.6L V8) leaks somewhere, slowly, and monthly I top the radiator off, often with straight water because it's a beater and I'm a lazy bastard. Well, in the summer it manages not to overheat on straight water. And then this freeze came, and it hit the teens (thanks polar vortex!) and froze my cooling system pretty solid. This blew out the freeze plug behind the driver's side mount in the block. What a hassle. I'm hoping a rubber one like you used will go in without me having to take the motor mount off. This is my secondary vehicle so it's not the end of the world, but it's a hassle. Once I replace this one I can find out if others blew out like the one in this video. We'll see! (I do my own repairs, but I don't wanna.) As I was saying, "well, well, well, if it's not the consequences of my own actions." LMAO.

Good video. So did you just run water hose to produce that water? I can'tget anyone over here to look into this but was told mine had the same issue but I'd have to take the motor out or raise it or something...I'm no mechanic by any means but I'm seriously thinking about trying this myself. lol

Water in your oil is a head gasket problem. That is a freeze plug that will cause your coolant to leak out. You have 2 seperate problem’s

So your plug was one of the rears? Did it dump into the oil pan & crankcase? I think my issue is one of the front plugs under the timing cover? My dumbass left just water in my 98 5.4 Expedition when I removed the heater hoses to change the nightmare plug #4. I live in northern AZ where it gets very cold (not all of AZ is desert). I filled the truck up with water....then we got 3 days of snow....now I have same issue. 😭😭😭

@@FixitFelix529 okay, so you just basically ran like a garden hose and ran it in to get the water to come out. I'll try this. Thanks for the video. I was told I had to take the motor half way out...yada yada...lol

I'm sure you know by now, water in your oil is not caused by a bad freeze plug. Bad head gasket or cracked head is the problem.
