"dOn'T yA mEaN a 3⁵1, yOuNg FeLLeR? (hyuck)" I get so tired of explaining the Ford-Edsel family of engines that I almost understand how these 352s and 360s "become" 390s on the day of sale. Beautiful truck. Sounds great, I'm sure I'll see it at a gas station somewhere.

Is this fe352 the original engine that came with this truck. My truck has the fe352, but the last owner replaced the original engine with this one. Which car or truck should I ask parts for it????
@skeeterjeff20123 ай бұрын
Just an fyi the distributor gets connected to a timed vacuum port on the carburetor, not a constant vacuum port, which will make and engine run crappy.
@bigheadedmartian5 жыл бұрын
Why don't you have the distributor vacuum advance hook up?
@juancip43315 жыл бұрын
Because he goes wrong, and thé camshaft is not ariginal.

@@rodneyharris3284 it's not too much. Best thing would be to get an air fuel ratio gauge to help tune it. The gauge will come with a bung to weld into the exhaust. When you buy the carb get the jet kit also

I’ve always wanted a 64 -66 Chevy but they have gotten really expensive. Are the Fords generally cheaper or are they just as high ? I like both. The 64-66 Fords are really cool
@Motorsport_Maniac2 жыл бұрын
Ford more expensive to build motor wise. Chevys cheaper on motor stuff

Could be a ton of different things... Timing, ruptured vacuum advance, accelerator pump, vacuum leak, point gap, cracked distributor cap, coil, intermittent power short to the coil. Just to name a few.

If it only does it at idle or low rpm it could be that your motor is just cold. Same thing happens with my 66 Galaxie with a 352. If you don't let it warm up enough it will run like garbage until it's up to temp
