@@michaelstroud98 personally I have a split mani and I kept the first cat and did a single straight side exit, 2/12 insh pipes I think. Sounds very simlar to this with a little less pop on the down shift, that could just be his timing tune though. straight six with a straight pipe is never. abad choice

There isn't a huge amount over here, mainly all imported from the USA We do, cats aren't necessary for certain age vehicles, our emissions regulations aren't as strict as in the USA from what I've heard

On my 95 I just cut the muffler off. When you're running about 45 or so put it in third and let off the gas and clutch. It will backfire like that

@@e30graveyard will do, first thing I did was replace my muffler with a glass pack. Haven't found the right pieces to close up the small leak I have though. May just take it to a shop and have them close it up. Side exit before the axle.

Was a long time ago, Ive since sold it, i think o2 sensor was pre cat, and the management seemed very basic, I never had any lights on, it wasn't any faster or better on fuel though

on OBD 1 trucks the o2 is pre-car so the engine computer doesn’t know anything about the converter operation. On OBD II trucks they do have a post cat o2 that does monitor the converter’s operations. some aftermarket mustang sites offer dummy plugs for those sensors that will turn off any MIL problems.

install a transmission controller if you have an automatic transmission made by bonham industries in bypasses the pcm and that should do it also help your transmission to shift better and eliminate a lot of potential problems
