I am having trouble with my neutral safety switch and so far you’re the only guy who explains it in plain English. These other guys explain it as we are all pros and of course we are not, thanks for the video really appreciated it !

would the NSS be located in the same place on a 2005 F250?
@TerenceDIY2 ай бұрын
Unfortunately not. 2005 is the year they placed them on the inside of the transmission. If you remove the pan, you will see it attached to the linkage. It's called a Range Sensor. Thank you so much for watching.

Clean that shaft up more and you won't have to worry about screwing up the switch with a hammer. It will slide on much easier. Great video otherwise.

I agree. Thank you and thanks for watching.

Could one just plug in a new switch without installing it to see if the switch is the problem? Just plug it in and leave it hanging?
