Having owned one of these trucks in real life I can tell you that this model is a great representation. Truth is no one over here that build these real trucks (me included) would never use such hard suspension. I used Fox Piggybacks and they are plush like a water bed at slow speeds. Great vid Kev. When you do Monster Jam make sure it's the Atlanta one bro so I can come meet you and see your weapon in action.

Having watched your channel for a while, I find it curious that you always resort to huge motors, monster ESC and massive batteries, to add power to otherwise feeble rc vehicles. There are other ways, which might (maybe) have better outcomes, at least in some scenarios. Rather than heading straight to massive kv motors, which seem to be mostly really heavy and big, why not head to a modified low-turn sensored motor (8.5T or 6.5T), set up the timing on an engine dyno for max output (its not very difficult) and set up the gearing for max speed (or torque) . Then you can use a sensored ESC, and correspondingly, then set up the ESC for max power, according to the preferred application. Again, not difficult, especially compared to all the bodywork and chassis mods you do to fit the big heavy components. Batteries can correspondingly be dramatically reduced, 2S or 3S should be heaps. Outcome, gross vehicle weight will surely be reduced, a lot, which will surely improve durability, especially on big-air landings. Speeds, will probably increase (less weight to move), and control-ability / drive-ability should also improve, cornering mass will be much lower. Its what the rc racing fraternity has been doing for years, and you already use the handsets that can take best advantage of these components. Great channel btw, be interesting to see if you enter into these components. Looking forward to next episodes.

I used to blow the motors in my drone and they would sound like that. The enamel on the wires melts causing it to magnetize unevenly and run rough. Motor is much cheaper than esc so thats good. Really like these scale trucks and cars.
