To reach the rear end of the drag link without needing a 90-degree fitting, you could try just turning the steering, so that joint isn't directly over the axle beam.

You said that you can’t get the tool in to lubricate the last grease point. Actually, you can and you don’t need an offset fitting. All you needed to do was move your steering wheel either to the left or right to move the grease point and use your regular fitting.

The first one that you do is not a tie rod end, it's the lower end of the kingpin. Notice that it's directly below the second point, which is indeed the upper end of the kingpin. The next time that you say you're doing the left tie rod end (@2:12), that's actually what you're doing. It doesn't really matter that you don't understand what any of the parts are, as long as they are all properly lubricated.

Are kingpins to be greased loaded and unloaded? Turn the wheels to get straight on to the linkage grease fitting. Good basic info.

According to the front end shop that did my alignment it's both. You grease them first unloaded then drop down to load the pins and and give another pump.

I use a Battery powered grease gun.... It allows me a better view of what I'm greasing
