@@kylehixx 40 and 55 torx bits. there are a few bolts to remove and viola! Seat backs are out.

I've watched like 2-3 other videos on this subject and this is the first anyones mentioned those clips under the cushion. Everybody else is literally just ripping them out! Didn't seem right to me. Glad I found your video. No more stress about breaking those clips! I've got an autocross meet this weekend and between the rear seats, spare and jack, I should be able to pull about 100lbs out! Thanks for the video!

Not all the locators have the black locks. Many are simply a push fit into the socket.

I dont know if youre answering questions here but if you are, I have a 2017 fiesta hatchback and I am taking the seats out but although the front part losened pretty easily the back part isnt coming out as easily. I cant see underneath what Im working with. It seems as though its hooked on somehow. Not as this says that you just pull it out. Any ideas? Thanks much!

It's a lot easier to pull the back parts up first, before un-popping the front fixings. Not all models have the little black locking tabs. Some are just a push fit. Re-assembly is the reverse. Best to secure the 2 front fixings first, then push the back of the cushion between the seatbelt mountings.
