Thanks for the video. I know there are presets ford recommend but from your persfective, which setup for the bump and rebound are best? We have bumpy road here and want oversteer tendancy.

Hey, thanks for your interesting video. Simple question, what happens with the torque vectoring / Limited slip differential mechanism when installing coilovers?

Torque vectoring springs you mean? And what about the limited slip differential, it has nothing to do with the suspension kit. Can you please be more specific

@@ArgyriST_ well, basically, you have lowering springs specifically for the torque vectoring mechanism, eibach and pumaspeed have them. Other manufacturers don't. So i wonder what the effect would be, without springs that support this. As I understood from Ford, these springs are necessary for the lsd to work properly, because torque vectoring control uses the breaking system to have that slip diff stuff going on, therefor you need specific springs that react accordingly on the given break-input of the torque vectoring control, or do I totally misunderstand?

@@flyingbear_fpv9291 yep, you’ve been confused a little bit. Torque vectoring springs are basically banana shaped rear springs only that apply a somewhat inward force during corners to give more grip to the rear wheels. It has nothing to do with the torque vectoring brake system. The LSD is an accessory placed after the final drive of the gearbox that splits the power on the wheel on the outside of the corner to basically force the front of the car inside the corner. One more thing, the springs that KW supplies with this kit are force vectoring springs.

@@ArgyriST_ ok thanks man! Makes it easier to decide on coilovers vs lowering springs a lot easier. As a regular lowering spring might wear out standard coils faster as i understood.

@@flyingbear_fpv9291 apart from that, a standard shock with just lowering springs does not work as it should, it’s travel is reduced by much, which means during bumps or road imperfections, the shock does not perform as it’s intended to. Plus, if you’re into track days, fast cornering into kerbs or minor track surface bumps will actually make the shock perform poorly. A proper coil over kit of course diminishes all that

Hey mate. Love the brakes! Very well done. However looking thru your channel I cannot find any information on what or where are from? If you could please share the specs would greatly appreciate it. Thank you I think I know the video you are talking about but unfortunately I can't speak Russian?

Hello, the language you refer to is Greek. The brakes, are a custom made kit with Maserati brembo calliper, Ferodo DS2500 pads, 350mm full floating 2 piece rotors, hel braided lines.

Hey, I'm considering these coilovers for my ST, I just wanted to know, in the basic setup, is the car more comfortable than stock? And also, I would like to know if it is hard to reach the adjustment wheels for bounce and rebound? Thanks and great video by the way :)

Hello andrei The car is much more comfortable than stock while commuting, friendly with potholes, and generally a far superior feel. As for the adjustment, I believe you’ll find it a bit difficult to adjust it while on the ground but it is possible

@@ArgyriST_ Thanks for the quick reply, sounds awesome, I think I will try to justify the money for the coilovers and go for them. As for the adjustment, I was hoping it would be quite easy to play with different setups, to find the best one for the roads that I usually use, but if it’s not impossible then it will have to do.

@@amdursu Ford provides a booklet that suggests various settings such as B-road setup, Nurburgring, Track and Road.

μια πολυ συνοπτικη εντυπωση, πολυ καλυτερη απορροφητικοτητα των λακουβων κλπ κλπ, σε σχεση παντα με την μαμα με το ελατηριο, απιστευτο πραγματικα turn in στις στροφες, δεν γερνει το αμαξι τοσο, δεν βαζει μουτρα στα φρενα.

Γειά σου φίλε θα ήθελα να ρωτήσω το mk8 st δεν έχει μια ειδική ανάρτηση που πιέζει την ρόδα κάπως προς τα έξω για καλύτερο κράτημα στην στροφή?άμα αλλάξεις ανάρτηση το χάνεις αυτό?

Αυτό που αναφέρεις είναι ο σχεδιασμός των πίσω ελατηρίων στην πίσω ανάρτηση. Όπως τα μαμά ελατήρια έτσι και τα ελατήρια της KW SUSPENSIONS διατηρούν αυτόν τον σχεδιασμό ώστε να μην χαλάει ο χαρακτήρας του αυτοκινήτου στις στροφές

Σωστά είναι η ανάρτηση που έδινε στο Fiesta ST Edition αποκλειστικής αγοράς Αγγλίας και στο Fiesta ST Edition, φρένα έχω αλλαγμένα μπρος πίσω με πιο δυνατή αναβάθμιση μπροστά, μπρεμπο δαγκάνα, δίσκους τακάκια σωληνάκια όλα. Έχω βίντεο στο κανάλι που παρουσιάζω όλο το αμάξι
