We have been quietly working alongside RTS on this product for the past 12 months as we put the clutch through immense pressure in our Time Attack 2019 Championship winning car. This is part of our development program which included driving the vehicle on the road to circuit competing then driving back to AET HQ
The new clutch brings a whole host of new features to the table above the current market alternatives such as;
✅ New bespoke backing plate
✅35% increase in clamping force over stock
✅New 5 paddle system design
✅ Capable of managing 400LBFT
New hardware releases for these vehicles have naturally slowed down as the vehicles have been replaced by the later Mk8 ST models, however, the new Hybrid Clutch from RTS Europe should certainly bring some excitement back to the market, in particular to those who are running bigger power figures!
