FORD FOCUS 2014 Door latch actuator DIY repair front left door driver side(TAGALOG)

The spring that you put in there to make the latch stay closed has to be secured on the moving plastic piece, otherwise it jumps to the side after a few door openings. I bent the very end of the spring 90 degrees so that the loop was parallel to one side of the spring and pushed it behind the moving part, then I compressed the spring and pushed the other end into the compartment where he also puts it. The latch works great now. I tested stationary and then after some driving on dirt and gravel roads and the spring seems to stay. Hope this helps. Also the spring was from a live wire testing screwdriver that had broken. Looks like the spring he used was from a pen though.
