I don't understand... my Ford Fiesta 2011 does this automatically? As soon as I hit the drive or reverse, it automatically locks every door. I thought that was the same for every Ford...

I can't understand very well, what does the short and long press means... Desactivate/activate this mode? Or the short pressing is for active the auto lock while start moving and long press is for auto open for the 4 doors

This trick won't work unless this funcion is activated via OBD (programming cable) first. Also is called "AutoLock".

At some point Ford dealers started to disable this feature. I believe it's a legal thing.

Yeah this doesn't seem to work on my mk4 st line focus. Weird as my dads transit custom has an option for it but not for cars as they don't support it on cars for legal reasons

Hello for me mk3.5 2017, after entering the programming, if I press unlock and lock, nothing happens, only if I press first lock and then unlock, the horn beeps twice, but the doors don't close when locking, why?

That's anti-hijack. Locks the doors when car is on the move.

With short and long presses you can toggle functions: auto-closing and auto-opening.

I dont get this video as to pressing 3 times on the auto central locking button.... To lock the doors from inside of the car you just press the button once to lock the doors as long as the yellow light is on....the doors are all locked...
