Darn that's an awesome deal. I'm looking to get one currently 17 with 50k miles. There aren't too many in Texas lol. How's it driving so far? Also the interior isn't really as bad as they say?
@coltonconroy13842 жыл бұрын
@@kortezblade4600 I had mine shipped from Indiana to Texas with CarMax. 17 RS2 package Nitrous Blue 1 owner. It was 39k listing price not including ttl. Wouldn’t have it any other way, everytime you drive it you can’t help but have fun. It’s a stiff, AWD, street legal rally car. The interior is actually great imo it gets a lot of hate from people who are used to modern luxury cars but for me it’s the nicest interior I’ve ever owned. Honestly I couldn’t recommend the car enough it’s much better than the Focus ST. Become a Focus RS enthusiast I promise you won’t regret it.

Amazing documentary thank you very much DPCars and the Ford team ! I was one of those guys Jamal, had a mk1 loved it but after 5y behind the wheel I wanted an awd bought an evo9 and then an sti14..a few months before learning about the mk3 awd :/ Selling it and am currently waiting for my mk3 :) I test drove a 2016 RS and found better than what I disliked in the sti, the engine has twice the power and torque at low rpms, it understeers less and the steering feel reminded me of my evo I didn't have to battle the wheel like I do in the sti. I love the pops and burbles thx for them and for not making me change exhaust for the 1st time in 20 years, the RS definitely has a serious brake bite now compared to it's competition so happy they added/fixed that before production :D

Why the dislikes?? Is it because of the constant small ads(no biggie)? Ad-block people or support the channel! C'mon! This was awesome footage!

After 4 years with the RS I still love the car, the latest upgrade from M380 to M400R and I wouldn’t have thought the difference would change, although the power only increased to 20hp but the torque came 90Nm more and the car is like from a different planet. Next, Mountune’s differential lock to the front and winter driving features culminate, beware of Beamers and Mers and others.

Great video, yes I am a kinda late seeing it but it's interesting to see all the effort that went into making a proper RS that deserves the name . Have one and can appreciate the great feeling of grip these cars have and for the price they are some car and you have to spend many thousands more to get a car similar with other brands. Sadly this probably will be the last engine powered proper RS that we will see before everything goes Scalextric battery powered cars...

With all these engineers I still can't figure out how the wrong head gaskets was put on a 2016 and 2017 RS?! 🤔

12:18 Ford, Please listen to these guys, its the details that matters. I have an RS and can feel the fighting steering that the one guy mentions. Yes its ok overall, but needs fine tuning. But of course, its too late now and I'm speaking to no one, as these aren't made anymore.

Shame they didn't test it on some Devon roads, because under power on an uneven road mines just friggin dangerous, smooth awesome, uneven nightmare. which you'd expect a Rally sport car to cope with much better.

Shame about the chocolate engine eh, ford of junk. Should have fixed all the head gasket messes instead of messing about with documentary and crapping on your customers. That's why ill never forgive this junk manufacturer for a complete mess and disrespect to the RS brand and the customers. Engineering failure of a documentary.
@Glhaw2 жыл бұрын
Chocolate engine? There's an RS near me that has 170k KM on the original powertrain, comes down to not being a dumbass. It was a production mistake silly. Ford took all the steps necessary to ensure that all engines affected were properly taken care of. If your car failed a compression test and other tests they would have replaced your engine for free of charge.
@snotwurfit Жыл бұрын
They fixed the gasket issue. And it's not like no other car manufacturers ever have issues? Great car, the RS. You just sound bitter.

Glad you had good experience but please stop defending a car brand that doesn't give s shit about you at end of the day. I loved fords especially RS but after the crap and lots of people experience with the cars they were not as good as previous generations and other manufacturers are better ford have lost ther way your simply supporting a brand that is now totally dead enjoy
