Ford Focus RS WRC '03 In Action - Start, Accelerations, Turbo Sounds & More!

This video is about one of my favorite WRC car, the 2003 Ford Focus RS WRC. It was an evolution of the 1999 Ford Focus WRC and it featured lots of aerodynamic and mechanics updates.
It's powered by a Duratec R 2.0-litre turbocharged engine with a power of 300hp (restricted) and 550 Nm of torque.

2003 NZ Rally? The blue RS on white, I'm biased as I like blue and am from NZ. RS Cosworth from the 90's is pretty sweet too. But really, a Mk 1 Escort in rally kit, can that be beat? Ford have had some iconic cars.

Back when I used to watch WRC here in the states. Early to mid 2000 range. Don't know why it got me interested. My dad got me hooked to it. Now, it doesn't come on anymore. Used to be a thing on the SPEED channel.

mmmm that's a nice question bro. Being a car enthusiast since I was born, the quickest answer that I could give you is because of my love for cars sounds. I was really fascinated by the different type of roars and noises the various engines were able to produce. So I decided to record them just to remember and to listen to them whenever I wanted. Then nothing, I discovered KZbin as a sort of place to store all these video ^^ .... Yes... I would say that is exactly what happened XD Wish you a great weekend Mick!

Ricordo ancora quando la presentarono. Faceva impressione rispetto alla 2002, che era uguale alla controparte stradale. Se non ricordo male un tuner americano ne fece un kit replica omologato per la strada, pazzesco. Sicuramente la WRC più ignorante ed aggressiva di sempre... bellissimo il suono in rilascio. Fu un po' sfortunata... ma rimane una leggenda!

hahah problem isn't the fact is "boring", I'm 100% sure I'd have fun as a kid to see and recording something new. The big problem are travel costs :'( But one day I'll be there and I'll be able to record NASCAR, IndyCar, IMSA, NHRA, Formula Drift and Pikes Peak.... ok maybe that's too much XDD
