How much NM torque to fasten the bolts on top of the shifttower on the gearbox?

Was the 02 shifter broken when you got it? I ask because I have an 01 and my brother has an 07 both with the mtx75, but they feel so different that they don't even seem like the same transmission. I wondered if you had a before and after thought of the swap.

Yes, it was broken unknowingly when I bought it, and it feels as though it shifts differently due to the difference in the design is my assumption.
