Biased review....!!! Best in class...practicallity loaded in this car...i own this diesel fuel.. As per my experience, I can tell space is no issue except the boot space which is not that great. Car is greater in term of safety with all luxury level features like ARP, TCS and as well as all other basic feature too. My god, handling, yes, i will comment on that this is best in term of handling even if a pothole comes at 100kmhr,car will absorb it thats the beauty of practical suspension given in this car. ARP and TCS give you Audi level of body roll control. Excellent car. Just go for it rather than buying tin ka dabba maruti.

One day on a highway a verna diesel got pissed off at how fast freestyle diesel was travelling and finally I had to let him pass as he was so frustrated, this car is an absolute gem! For everyone owning a sub 15 lac car and not experiencing tcs, arp and hla, I’d say don’t go with the reviews just drive it and experience! This will feel like Mercedes A class with even better handling!

I am 6'2" and tested the car. I had not issues with the headroom in the either front seat or back seat. Yes, adjustable head rest is what is needed. I own an 2013 ford and yes i like steering in that car. But, steering on freestyle was far better then Hyundai i20 which i take out for long drive very often.

Fun to drive element was never associated with its petrol engine in figo also. When you say steering is not same, then its mostly done to suit city driving at low speed. I drove it and it weighs quite well as speed picks up. Problem is that you people don't mention this when reviewing hyundai or maruti. Hyundai has the most lifeless steering but i rarely hear anyone complain about it. Freestyle steering although not in the same league of first gen figo but still way better than the competition and only polo matches it in terms of handling and only polo beats it in build quality. But we need to remember polo is significantly expensive and VW infamous service. Hyundai and Maruti gives you projector headlamps which can be fitted aftermarket in any car. What can't be replaced is chasis and its driving dynamics. Maybe you should talk about those more rather than looking for bottle holders. And please don't even go for build quality and then compare it to hyundai and Maruti.

Only thing i will agree with is fixed headrest problem. That is incredibly dumb thing to do by ford. Could have kept in top models. Would have bumped up the price by probably 5-10 k but it would have helped getting a lot of a customer.

Pratyush Anand gagan is pro Hyundai... He smartly hides all those features which are in favor of ford.. Freestyle is very different from figo and ecosport... ESP, EBD, ARP, ABS, pata nahi kya kya... Looks like he either lacks knowledge of important safety features which Indian customers are kept away from or he is trying to devalue all that ford has put in this car to stand out among competitors...

Yes those are changed. I believe, it was changed right after the customer's feedback. Besides, DRL & project lights are also being offered but as an accessories and would cost 30k more.

आपके रिव्यु में शायद कुछ कमी अभी भी है आपसे निवदेन है कि दुबारा से रिव्यु करे क्योकि आपने पूरी वीडियो में ट्रुक्शन कंट्रोल, हिल होल्ड असिस्ट और बहुत से फीचर के बारे में नही बताया दूसरा अगर किस की हाइट 6.5 फुट भी है तो भी उसको हेडरूम और लेगरूम की दिक्कत नही आती क्योकि मैन खुद ये चेक किया है दूसरा आपने ड्राइव स्टेबिलिटी के बारे में बात नही की जो कि इस सेगमेंट की दमदार बात है अगर आप 3 अंको की स्पीड में हो और अचानक आप ब्रेक लगते है तो कार ज्यादा हिलती डुलती नही है पेट्रोल इंजन में बहुत हल्का सा फील पावर को लेकर किसी किसी को हो सकता है वो भी उन लोगो को जिन्हें थोड़ा फन तो ड्राइव चाहिए मैन जनवरी 2021 में 1.2 पेट्रोल टाइटेनियम वेरिएंट लिया है और 7 महीने में 14000 कम ड्राइव कर चुका हूं जो कमल की स्टेबिलिटी और बाकी चीज़े इस कार में है इस तरह के सेगमेंट में आपको इस प्राइस में कही नही मिल सकती ये मेरा आप सभी के लिए ओपन चेलेंज है एक अजब ही दीवानगी है छोटी कार के मामले में फ्रीस्टाइल को चलाने में और है अंत मे बात करते है प्रैक्टिकल माइलेज की तो सिटी में अगर आप थोड़ा सा कंट्रोल रूप से चलते है तो 13.5 और हाइवेज पर ऑलमोस्ट 20 का एवरेज मैन खुद इससे लिया है और ये टैंक तो टैंक और मिड दोनों पर चेक किया है दूसरा हम 5 लोगअपने पूरे सामान के साथ 15 दिन की पहाड़ो की ट्रिप पर केदारनाथ, बद्रीनाथ, तुंगनाथ, चोपता, त्रुगिनारायन, आदि बहुत सी जगह गए है परंतु कही भी पावर की रत्ती भर भी कमी नही लगी और AC के साथ लगभग 13 KMPL काएवरेज मैन इससे लिया है

dear you said Freestyle petrol engine is not as peppy as Marutis 1.2 K series engines I think main reason for this will be weight of the car I think swift & baleno are approx 100 kg less in weight compare to Freestyle. Heavy cars mean better build quality.

Yesterday only i booked freestyle Titanium+ diesel. When someone says its based on figo, yes it is but altogether it also looks different. The steering is light on low speeds but once you get past 60-70km/h it weighs well. Ford Aspire with 2 airbags scored 3 stars in NCAP safercarsforIndia but the structure was rated unstable, so i think freestyle will also get somewhat same rating. The two things that i disliked when compared with my current car, Tata Vista Quadrajet 90ps are- 1. Rear bench- The underthigh support was too underwhelming. The head room was just ok. 2. The suspension setup- It's a bit stiff for my liking. When you drive over a speed breaker on lower speeds say 20-30km/h the cabin becomes quite unsettling. By unsettling i dont mean that you are thrown here and there, but yes the breaker filters in. But again a soft suspension setup would have compromised the handling. One thing that i couldn't understand is , why seatbelt pretensioners are missing. Ford is giving so many safety techs but skipping these somewhat small things. In conclusion, its comfortable for front two people only.

Hello Sir/All, I need your advice. This is one of the best car which provides maximum safety feature and build quality in segment. I'm planning to buy Titanium+ petrol. Resale value is not my priority. The only thing which is disappointing me is it's less sales figures and below avg mileage. You can go choose freestyle over active if adequate cabin space (shoulder room, knee room and boot), build quality (interior + exterior) does not matter to you much.. and do remember figo got 0 star in crash testing (freestyle is based on the same figo platform with suspension tweaks, extended track n wider tyres) . Active is way better though it resembles elite i20 in almost every way.

Yes it costs more , bcoz Active is a bigger car and higher segment car than Freestyle. Ford Freestyle falls in the segment of Ignis or Grandi10. Active S Petrol (mid variant) is sold the highest (atleast in bangalore) since S variant has all the necessary features and some luxurious ones as well. Truly value for money even after considering its petrol low fuel efficiency.

Rajesh Sharma Thanks Rajeshji. I also live in a hilly area where roads are worst of that of Himachal. Have driven Maruti and Hyundai hatchback for ten years. When I compare those with Ford Figo, which some of my friends use, Ford is faaaaar better in maintanance, safety, power and drivebility. So, I have booked Freestyle this time. Do not trust all the so called car experts in KZbin, some of them are against Freestyle. It is a great, great value for money car at this price. Let us encourage Ford for giving such an awesome car at a very cheap price.

Go for Freestyle. Safety, tough build and very good pricing! Hyundai and Maruti cannot compete :/ If your running is only 400-500kms/months go for the Petrol 1.2 engine. Diesel engines should only be bought if the running is more than say 1300-1500 kms/month.

airbag won't be deployed if there is no passenger sitting on the passenger seat because of seat occupancy sensor not sensing the weight. this saves some money and prevents an airbag from deploying in an event of an accident when there is no passenger sitting on the seat. those who have this in their car should NEVER wash their seat with water, should not place their knees on the seat because this sensor is located in a mat and is very fragile. if this sensor is faulty, airbag light will show on the instrument cluster and replacing the sensor is expensive. it was 450 £ for my BMW, about 43000 Rs.

Hi All who own the same car, I also bought Ford freestyle petrol titanium 15 days ago. I have few points to discuss or get a confirmation on since you drove the same model enough to share your experience. 1. As per owner manual, there is a break-in period of 1500 KM for this car and a car should not be accelerated hard or be driven on high speed during that period however, a dealer or salesman have no idea about it and people also suggest not to follow it since with latest technology, a break-in period does not make any difference. What do you think or did you follow that? 2. I have been driving my car with maximum speed of 70 KM/H (following break-in period) and have completed 900 KM till now, as per MID screen, have been getting a mileage of 13.9 KM/L, not sure if we can relay on that? your update on these points would really be helpful. Good Review Gagan, nice insights about car. ...I am little confused which car to buy and reaching you for your inputs. I was looking for safest car(6 AirBgs) and around 10L price, so filtered down to 2 cars ( i20 elite and Freestyle). I am looking for car to drive in city which offers (better handling, mileage, bumper 2 bumper driving, comfort) .. As I see freestyle T+ diesel price is same as i20 Elite Asta(o) .
