Velocity Invitational hosted the first in-person public debut of the 2023 Ford GT Mk IV.
Simply put, the 2023 Ford GT Mk IV is the last of its kind. This final track-only model boasts the superior aerodynamics, extreme performance and razor-sharp handling that befits America’s original Le Mans winning car. And to honor the original 1967 racing legend, only 67 of them will be built. By hand.

The mustang gtd will race in the imsa gtd class hence the name

The Mustang GTD is a road version of the GT3 car. The Mustang GT3 will race wherever it is allowed, and people buy them. As for the Mk4... it is a track-only special that is not homologated to any racing series like the Pagani Zonda R and other similar vehicles.
