You can order a kit car gt40 for less than 50k, then put the engine and transmission (of your choice) in yourself at a local shop, and finally finish it up at your own home. Making a long term plan, you can build one this way over a few years far cheaper than a new higher end sport car if you set aside the money you would be paying for something much less desirable like any new 50-60k dollar SUV, truck, or luxury sedan. At least that's what I hope to start within the next decade anyway! race-car-replicas.com/rcr40-kit-details

I'm glad somebody has the money to keep these cars running and on the track,Else the cars would end up in an exclusive museum where only donors, investors and magazine writers would be invited to see the car and get a chance to hear it start up then shut down and put the car back under glass, until next year. Bless the folks who put the cars back out on the tracks and flog the daylight out of them,So we can all get a small taste of what these amazing machines can do

I love to see legendary classics like this being driven in this day and age, and to see that there's people out there that take care of these cars as if it were their own child, it really warms my heart to know that the people who own these cars treat them with the utmost respect. Props to them.

Hi Bozzy. Great video, mate. I realize this is modernday, but the opening footage somehow has a vintage feel to it. I mean that as a total compliment, of course.👍 I love the stance, colour combination, and brawny sound of that car. Any idea how wide those tires are? They look a foot and a half wide.💪😲 Crazy cool! Hope you're having a fantastic weekend, bro!✌

Have to check my wallet XD - Spa 24h.... mmmm... it inspires me hahah

Wonder what the maximum height you could be to drive one of those beauties? lol
@IVHMSFSR7 жыл бұрын
You can be 6'3" to get in a GT-40, however, having a shorter torso and longer legs at that height is the trick or your head or helmet will hit the standard roof. The Gurney bubble helps add a couple more inches of clearance. I'm 5'8" and have almost a foot more of room to move the pedals forward (seat is fixed), however, with the helmet on, I scrape the standard roofline a bit. You can remove almost an inch of cushion material in the seat, too...
@MarkMeadows907 жыл бұрын
I'm around 6'. Not sure of my torso though, but I do have long legs. I was just curious. Wish I could have an opportunity to even sit in one let alone getting to drive one for sure lol
