I ordered your HP pump seal kit today. My 3000 tractor makes this a very hard job. The front-end loader apparatus is directly in the way, plus the exhaust is routed down and out the back of the tractor. Those two things make it even more difficult to do this work. Your videos are extreamly helpful. Thanks for being there😊

Thank you so much for this video. New to tractors and my Ford 3000 I bought two months ago and now I'm plenty busy getting it into shape for this summer of use. I've used your videos more than any others out there to help me understand the steps for much of what I've been working on. I do have a part supplier (New Holland) where I can get most of my parts locally just 10 minutes from my house. HOWEVER, they are not the ones helping me figure out what steps I need to do for many of my repairs/maintenance and I am learning all that from YOUR videos. So now I need to work on and reinstall my hydraulic pump so it would seem only fair to me to show my appreciation for the service you provide and I've just now ordered the "Hydraulic Pump Mounting Set with High-Compression Fitting" from your website. Thank you again for your very helpful and detailed videos.

Great video. My 3000 is a 65 and luckily both LP and HP pipes are flanged and o-ringed so a little bit easier to install. The torque wrench does fit in there. My problem was the oiling hole for gear side kept causing the gasket to leak. After two tries got it straight, but the drive side for my tractor had to be RTV'd, go on straight, be bolted, and not be shifted any...otherwise it would leak. Keep'em coming, these videos have helped me a ton!

Always enjoy the Gingells' videos. They are both natural teachers and whether you actually own one of the models they are working on or not, there is always something to learn that will apply to mechanical work.

I have a quick question, on a farmall h or m, can you hook up to hydraulic hoses to each plug on the left side of the tractor, to create a 2 way system. or would you still have to do the standard conversion with a separate valve?

Question if you please: I have a Ford 4000 Industrial 4-cylinder diesel. Do the 3-cylinder and 4-cylinder use this same hydraulic pump???
@DanGingell3 жыл бұрын
They do not use the same pump. There are some similarities between the hydraulic pumps but yours would not have this style of compression fitting. This video outlines the rebuild of the pump you have: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f33Eep5meZaSsJY

Hello, I'm a 64-year-old farmer who recently purchased a small farm in Goodrich, Mi, off Dutch Road. My wife and I stopped at the Steiner Tractor store for a look around and to purchase a front tractor emblem for my old 8n! Inside the store, I took 1 photo of my wife sitting in a chair and the counter clerk scolded me saying, no taking of pictures in the store. The counter clerk demeaned me in front of another customer, and my wife! I don't plan to return to Steiners or make further purchases from them! Steiner Tractor should post signs that read: (PLEASE, NO CAMERAS ALLOWED!) to prevent degrading community customers. (Occurred on Monday, July 17, 2023)
