FORD KA RACE CAR WITH 1.3 A9B STANDARD ENGINE BLOCK ON ITBS !!! RACE KAR, ENDURAKA, BARC, SPRINT CAR

Follow the story of this Ford KA that was built a few years ago !
The plan was to build a engine that was as fast as possible within the regulations of the sprint series the car was competing in but also be usable on the road. One of these restrictions was that the car had to remain standard on the bottom end the only thing that could be changed were stronger pistons and head work(inlet modifications are permitted. 🤣
The car had custom forged pistons made by JE , a custom cam profile , lots of head work and the best thing was the OMEX Individual throttle bodies paired with omex stand alone engine management!

Hell yeah! I love it when people spend stupidly money in cars they are not worth it. Want to buy a Twingo mk1 16v for my wife and do the same stupid thing. Engine tuning like it should be. Do you know/wanna tell what the engine cost was? Greetz from Holland!

So it is possible to be done with the 1.0l version, and the 1.6l version should get 180hps wth this

Gerry Monger the wiring loom and sensors were all purchased from omex and most of the standard sensors used apart from the omex Ecu allowed it to be Converted from maf sensor to throttle position sensor

Did you make the adapter plate for the itbs?

Hi, yes we made the adapter plate but we also blanked off the cutouts for the injectors in the inlet ports, so unfortunately not very easy to do correctly.
