Ford Mustang Mach E - Worth a Look!? (LAKE LAP: Full Review)

I’ve watched quite a few Mach E reviews and just had to share that yours was very well done. Some are way too long (do you really have 40+ minutes to tell me about the Mach E??) and others are too light on info - your stuck a perfect balance of being very informative while not droning on and on. Love the points you make comparing it to the Tesla model Y (the other vehicle I’m obv. considering) - very very helpful. Again, thanks - great job creating high quality content.

Purchased the gt model 12 days ago & i absolutely love it. If you're a car nut and hung up on tradition then ev isn't for you. However, if you're willing to try and learn something new, this car is definitely a solid choice. I'm happily adjusting to the learning curve and enjoying the new knowledge 👍😎. Basically what I am hearing is this is the car for me..., a human who would love to be cool enough to drive a powerful Stang (but is not), but this still has some awesome features, an amazing exterior look, and those two screens are 🤤! And can still look down and see the Mustang logo and feel a tinge of cool inside... Sold! 😜

I wouldn’t expect the 0-60 to be as claimed considering that it was done in what looked to be pretty cold weather. With a full charge and under optimal conditions, it would probably be even better than the 4.8 or whatever is claimed by Ford

Great review. I saw one at the LA Car show before they were released and it always seemed more like a Model 3 not a Y. See many of them around but not as many as the @tesla model Y

Thanks! Yes seeing more and more of these around here too. Definitely lower than model y. I think the optical illusion of the roof makes it look more like a model 3

You did the 0-60 speed test before changing the driving mode to "unbridal", which you seemed impressed with. Would the speed test change to get it closer to the factor rating than your test if the mode changed??? I like the look of these and have seen a lot around. Talk more about price comparison of the vehicle? What about used car market? Service rates? Will regular services bank the bank or to be expected. Long term value or is this earlier EV trend burn out?

Great questions! and yes we were in Unbridled for the 0-60 tests. I agree they look good-especially with the night/blacked out package. Time will tell on the reliability and used market. I would definitely want to own it with warranty. :)

Front end sucks because it’s easy for paint to be chipped

Seems like they did more than “slap a tag” on it. Lots of thought went into ways this could be true to mustang heritage. Seems like the only thing they couldn’t get in there was a v8 ;).

Honestly, it's just an electric station wagon and Ford just slapped on a Mustang badge. My opinion of anyone who purchases one of these goes down for sure. Cool review... Lame car.

It’s literally a MUSTANG 🤣 Ford took the design language of a traditional Mustang coupe and said “Let’s envision the Mustang as a sedan”… 🤔 “Now, lets make the sedan a crossover”…👀 “Now, lets electrify it”…😅😎👍 Call it an “iteration”… Call it a “variant”… but no matter what YOU 🫵 call it, it’s called a MUSTANG. Specifically, the Mustang: “Mach-E”
