Ive bought a Ford Puma ST in Mean Green , got rid of the Audi A3 and the Ford beats the Audi for enjoyment and reliability . Nothing but trouble with the A3 and the dealership could not fit the A3 for warranty work for 4 months . Terrible . Ford really are on point with their Cars .

A smashing video. I have the ST puma and I love it but.....the one downside is the parcel shelf. For the life of me I cannot attach it at all😵‍💫👍

Happy Sunday, Shahzad! Congratulations on your great review of this Puma ST. I really like the Recaro seats and the acceleration when you switch into Sport mode. Consumption is excellent for the performance offered and the steering is direct and precise. Also excellent as it absorbs deformities of the road surface. Really great. Bye 😃👍

I own the very same blue Puma ST. I have driven 7000km with it and can attest that the torque and acceleration of this car are excellent bang for your buck. The Recaro seats are not a problem for a big guy like me (the seats tend to ‘grow’ into it) so perfect for longer journeys as well. However, as satisfied as I am with the car I do feel Ford dropped the bal with the finish and overall interior quality. But overall I’m very happy with the car. Also, excellent review! ;)

This has been just what I was looking for, thank you, great review. I’m actually in the process of deciding between the two. With the extras I’ve added to the St-Line X, the price now is the same as the ST. Would you say that the ST needs the additional Performance Pack?

Thanks. Performance Pack has limited slip and launch control, unless you’re going to do track stuff and visit the drag strip often, I’d say no need in reality. On the other hand, might help for resale.

Going to ford tomorrow with missus to get her 2020 plate fiesta and getting a brand new puma,either st line or st line X in grey matter colour or the puma st in mean green which I already have PCP quote offer for with grand deposit an my current Sportage which I have on PCP with them traded in, really fancy the puma st in green but not doing track days,just normal everyday driving an some fun now and again but nothing crazy, is it still a great car without the performance pack 🤔👌

Quite like it, and it’s well suited to the masses within the current market. Ford basically added bulk to the Fiesta giving more comfort and practicality. I’m just not so sure on the ST badging on a crossover, it just doesn’t fit the vibe. In my opinion, the Puma itself doesn’t look sporty enough to come together as an ST. I doubt rational buyers would opt for the ST model, when you can get other models that I feel fill the sport needs better. As well as, the ST line outputting 155bhp, that is definitely sufficient and where the money is for Ford. After all, the Puma is only meant to be a practical family car, it should be branded as such, instead of appealing to what I feel is a senseless sports craze in today’s market.
