Is the ABS module really part of Transit MK8's PATS? Does this mean a complete replacement ECU Set needs to include ABS module too?

Yes. Ecu bcm abs pump and airbag module in the steering column. 👌🏼

This seems to be an issue on all transit vans. Why is this fault not being recognised by ford and recalled. Can anyone tell me this?

No, it doesn't. The warning only comes up on cranking attempt

​@@mrautoservices7354i have ford custom wont start. Hazards wont go off. Door locks dont work. Lost all gauges. Van starts with 2 new batterys installed but dies 10secs later. Im in Glasgow...can you come out & fix it or take a look? Obv will pay. Im stuck otherwise. Cheers.

Fyi all problems happened on the clydeside express on friday & resulted in recovery home.
