aluminum? the door hinge looks very thin compare to other parts do u sell hinge mount kits for both left and right door without ladder and tire carrier? im looking for extra storage space behind the van

Not sure about this - weatherstripping is there for a reason and the internal structure is a far more stable and strong mount point.

We have field tested this product for over two years on several different vans (many of which are parked outside all year round) and have had zero issues with the weatherstripping.
