Wonderful to see our motoring heritage safe in the hands of the delightful young man and mature beyond his years.My first car at 15 was a ' 37 & ' 38 Ruby which were rebuilt to make one decent car that became my first 50 years ago, and thought I was a pioneer at such a young age but relinquish that mantle to young Henry - good on him !.

I think young Henry summed up, in one line, what is so good about classic cars and so wrong with modern cars. We should all be driving around in Austin Sevens or Trabis or, indeed, Reliants!

The orange and green cars @ 9.55 are an Adams Probe 16 (orange) and a Probe 2001 (green). The orange car is the actual car used in a Clockwork Orange where it was called the Durango 95. They're not prototypes, although they only made three Probe 16s and five Probe 2001s. My old school friend Jon Bentley from The Gadget Show posted a video on FB of him getting into the 2001, with its electric lifting seats allowing access through the roof.

Th Marcos 'prototypes' were actually Adams Brother's Probe 16s. The Adams brothers had worked for Marcos earlier. One of these cars starred in A Clockwork Orange.

Ian - you would probably like my nephews T37 Bugatti - it has a Holden motor in it as it had when it finished racing. It was an Australian grand prix car. he does have a Bugatti motor that he can put in if he wishes.

My first car was a pale blue Consul Cortina estate, with the fake wood paneling bought in 79 for £110. It had a 1500cc engine, column gear change with front bench seats, giving it that American vibe.Sadly engine seized whilst a mate was using it, didn't have the skill set or facilities to repair it. Ahh the Classic Ford Cortina Lotus. Brings back memories of my Youth. My Mate Peter owned one, put it in a Hedge soon after Getting it. Then Got it all back up, fixed and Running and within weeks managed to do the Same thing Again but so badly it was un repairable. He was fine un hurt, but his Heart was Broken..! Having been a year younger than Peter, I was Learning to Drive at the Time. I learnt not to Drive like a Nutter. It doesn't pay off..! Great Video Loved the Young Chap at the End. Excellent walk around videos, showed me a lot of stuff I completely missed on Sunday! Mainly as I spent far too much time and money over with Sporting Bears, my must-do at the show whenever I make it. Sat here watching it with a brew in my new HubNut mug. Think you were just as shocked a a few of us were that we had to queue at your stand to buy anything, didn't queue anywhere else at the show 🤣 Worked though as I bought a TWC model too.

The orange concept car on the Marcos stand is a Probe 16 - one of three. One (not sure if it's the one on display) was used in the Clockwork Orange movie, where it was called the Durango 95. It's got a B-Series engine, although how they fitted that big cast-iron lump in the streamlined bodyshell is a mystery.

4:20 Not a one off, just quite rare with just over 400 built. It was the Coupé/Cabriolet version of the 501 'Baroque Angel' but was outshone by the contemporary and achingly gorgeous 507. John Surtees had one of them as well. I don't know about the 503 but the 507 was a present from Count Agusta for John winning a world championship on an MV.

Absolutely marvelous! Loving those quirky Marcos-concepts - looks like something Matchbox would have sold back when I was a kid in the mid 70s. You should try fo find out more about them and make some video about it! The Stratoses (Stratii?) all of them - just wow! So many wonderful cars - and you sure picked the right spot for the horn crescendo at the end of the show, close to the US police-cars 😅 To be fair, the show reminds me of those dreams you may have, were there is just more and more and more new stuff in an seemingly infinite number of new rooms... amazing!

Just a note Hubnut that no Chevrolet/Chevy vans were ever sold in Australia post-1945. Holdens assembled Bedford vans until 1981, when Isuzu vans took over.

Yep, JDM Eunos limited cars are so much nicer than the UK models. I have an S-limited 1.6 in black with red interior and 1000 made. The cars with the red interiors are quite rare these days.

What size engine was the Strada 105? All their smaller cars were numbered at 5% of their engine size... so my 128 45, was 900, my 65 Strada was 1.3... the 105 should therefore have been a 2.1!

I always assumed the number was the BHP output, rounded-up-approximately. This was just a guess on my part as I once had a Seat Ibiza with a 903cc Fiat engine (the same as a Panda 45 etc), and the official power output was 42bhp. Mine almost certainly didn't produce that, with a 32-second 0-60 time.
