Hi, Could you please tell me how you fixed this problem? We have exactly the same problem.

Hi Edward I got a dexta similar to yours and yesterday it started to delay when I pull the lever up like 4-5 seconds wait be fore the arms come up. It started doing it after I had a lot a weight in the transport box and dumped it. That's when it started the delay stuff it was fine before that but the lift arms were always jumpy on it. Wondering if you could shed any light on it..

I was told to stay away from these too many obsolete parts but what a great little tractor they were

I am in a similar situation, mine was completely rusted up with a pile of rust on the inside. I have several pieces that need to replaced and i cant find parts,videos,or very many diagrams. I got it all back together today and it doesnt seem right. mine is a 1959

+Roger F What do you mean by doesn't seem right are they still stiff or is the position control no working right. If they are still stiff then you could try getting a blowtorch on the position leaver inside to loosen things up. If the position control is not working right the lift cylinder adjuster may have been moved making the position of the hydraulics off point

Mine seems to have the same problem as when it is running you can move the hydraulic leaver up about an inch but it is very stiff which makes the lift arms move all the way up but once they reach full lift they start to slowly drop down again. If the this similar to your problem please could you advise me how fix it thanks. Great videos by the way.

+Aaron Findlow That is the problem that i had The problem with mine was that water hand found its way inside rusting and seizing the mane shaft on the inside. to fix it i had to take the shaft out and remove the rust and put a lot o oil on it and then put it back together. this fixed the problem for me hope this helps

@@npaisnel spare one ?
@npaisnel5 жыл бұрын
@@tomroskell403 Yes, I think what i was referring to was a spare top hydraulic box. I believe I have two of them. I still have not got around to working on mine. Maybe this year I'll start. Need to remove the pins from the trailer hitch lift mech. Going to need gas to heat and make a frame to press them out with a 'ports-press ' hydraulic ram and pump/ body straightener kit.
