At 1:15 and 2:38 the source subtitles are missing a も in いつまでも。 The subtitles wrote いつまで, but Merami sings いつまでも。The missing も has been added back.

It's because the amount of meaning that goes into the lyrics you don't realize till you start to truly think about it. I remember fully listening to this with subtitles on and then thinking about the lyrics while they were being said. And I kid you not as soon as I knew what they were meaning I actually was getting emotional because the lyrics are so true and they can relate to literally everyone because of how they are. Especially the lyrics of "I won't say "Farewell"; someday we'll meet again" is such a good send off line and it's something that when you think about it, it hinted at something of Foreground that could come back to this world.
