As someone who is Asian this has touched my heart. I'm Asian and living in Australia and although there isnt normally much talk about people hating on asians over here it does still happen. Im really happy you have bought this up in a video. I dont normally watch your videos but when I saw this pop up in my recommended I decided to have a look. Thank you for bringing up this topic. This makes me really happy as I have been discriminated for being Asian before too and I hope people learn a thing or two from this video and stop acting this way.

Hey I get you. Australia's great but there's a lot of racism often hidden to most people until they actually start living there. I lived in Australia during the Pauline Hansen era and I'll always be grateful to her for bringing out all the hidden racism out of the woodwork. At least it no longer became hidden but free for all to see. Hang in there and focus on the great Australians who do live there though. I made some of my best friends during that time.

As a foreign exchange student, I can confirm this. I am primarily from the south India and am now living in the US. It’s been 4 years. When I first started going to school here, people looked at me so different. I had my lunch alone because I would pack my country’s food as lunch from home. People said that my food and I stink .No one ever wanted to pair up with me in pair work or group work. I never knew how the other side of the world worked. People barely talked to me and barely understood me. I couldn’t understand what others were saying either. I got bullied so much times that the higher officials of my district came to have a meeting with me. People were so hesitating to make friends with me since I made great grades right from day 1 when I started going to school in the US. The bad part is that, people still don’t talk to me nicely. It’s been 4 years since I moved in but they look at me different. But some people do talk nicely with me. I am blessed to have them in my life. Thank you so so so very much Dhar mann for sharing this video. It was a way that Someone could express my feelings! And advanced congratulations on going to hit 15 million subscribers! More to come ☺️

I'm of Nepalese descent residing here in Sydney. Luckily I blend well with the people here but I do see people from South Asia or even the whole Asia in general struggling. One lesson I learned is, 99% time it's our brain playing the games making us feel that person dislikes us and all that crap. Stay positive, humble, and always respect the next person. Right people will cross path with you and who knows perhaps for life long journey they would be there with you. Take care brother, be safe.

I am Vietnamese and looking back, most of the kids at my school avoided me. I was kind of oblivious to it then, but now I realize how many kids nowadays take differences so seriously! I mean just because someone is from somewhere other than the US or likes learning, does NOT mean they are a dork. I hope many kids can learn at a young age to understand the importance of helping others feel included along with trying new things because as they grow up things like "nerds" or "weirdos" will become apparent. The worst part of my elementary school expreriences was feeling embarrassed or scared when me and my mom brought food to school because I have seen my very classmates make disgusted faces at food that forgein students brought. I would hate for any students in the future to have to be afraid of sharing their culture.
