Best thing I ever did after being in the British army. I would recommend either being some type of running based athlete or having some kind of military training before joining the FFL for a smooth ride through selection..... Speaking fluent French helped me with my remote job now as a translator for corporate management..... Go in with a positive attitude, an eagerness to learn and an open mind.

I agree, I served in the eighties (165***) and did a lot of good things. Upon leaving I got degrees and a masters in computing and I am now retired living the good life in France and Portugal where I own homes.

Estuve cinco años en el 2 REP a Calvi y fue una gran experiencia, recuerdo cuando jure el Kepi blanc una noche en plena naturaleza en aquel tiempo la caserna estaba situada en el centro de la villa de Castelnaudari heran unos muy antiguos barracones sin ninguna comodidad pero que hoy recuerdo con nostalgia. Legio patria nostra. Saludos desde Sabadell en Barcelona
