Im going to see Foreigner in Sydney at the Opera House with the Orchestra. Ive been a fan since i was 16 and now im 45 and ive never had the chance to see em. Honestly yeah it would be incredible with Lou, but lucky for me ive always been a Kelly Hansen fan since Hurricane and he does these songs justice. Hes a gun! Jeff Pilson is an incredible bass player. Mick is a legend. Will be great to see him in action. I cant wait! 👍

They reach #1 in the charts this week and I'd say Kelly has a lot to do with this. Many bands of their time have not achieved this with or without the original singer. This line-up of Foreigner is amazing. To say it's not Foreigner without Lou Gramm is like saying you want Terry Bradshaw to still be the quarterback of the Steelers. sorry kids, he just doesn't have it anymore. I wish this line-up would do more albums. The one album they did was amazing.

I worked back stage at the Cal Jam 2 in Ontario, CA 1978. They came on before Aerosmith towards the end of the concert. Aerosmith should have stayed in the locker. Cause Foreigner blew them and every other artist that went on that stage out. They were great that night.

To those making negative remarks about Kelly Hansen... we have to face facts: Lou Gramm's medical issues have, sadly, affected his brilliant and unique voice. Whilst Kelly is different, he makes a pretty good job of nearly the entire Foreigner back-catalogue. Tens of thousands of people turn out every year to hear his live renditions, buy the latest recordings, blurays, etc... so he's not a clone of Lou, but who is? Difficult to name another singer with the (young) Lou Gramm's vocal range and quality, so gotta hand it to Kelly for filling Lou's boots better than any previous Foreigner front man since the great man himself.

Right on ! Lou left the band of his own accord to pursue his solo career because ultimately, it was Mick Jones' band. Great as Lou Gramm was, the band remains because of the songwriting and direction. They still put on great shows, and Kelly Hansen is a true frontman with a great personality. Even Mick Jones takes off some nights, but it's still a great show.
