For Iftar dinner we visited Al Luban Land restaurant to try the camel meat. If you are a foreigner, you would probably like the taste. The camel is similar to beef stew and in this Muscat restaurant it is widely recognized as one of the best. The buffet dinner cost 5 rials and is all-you-can-eat with a good selection of salad, appetizers, chicken, camel and um ali dessert. They also had fresh fruit and drinks. The camel in the Middle East is a working animal but they also utilize it for racing and food. The racing camels are the most expensive to buy. If you are a foreigner in the Middle East and haven't tried it camel yet, give it a go! I'm sure you won't regret it.
