From my experience i lived in Delhi for 5 year i started loving Delhi food, i lived in Chennai i started loving South food. Now in Maharashtra started loving missal pav. There is no food capital of India, every place is universe in itself

Sorry to say but there is no such City or place in India which could be said as the food capital of India. Each city has unique and diverse food which we don't know about so it's not fair or appropriate to give a city a tagline of food capital and more or less it's up to you and what you like as best food This is what I think .

Trust me, this guy has tasted every Indian cuisine, main course and desserts, in his country. The main ethnic food available there is Indian, especially south Indian. But the North Indian food outlets do exceptionally well there, despite being small in numbers.

Most of the north Indian foods like Birani, Pulav (Pilaf), Halva that he mentioned here are actually have come from Middle east. I am sure he knows it but humble enough not to mention lest he hurts Indian sentiment. But the fact is most of such items came from Middle east, of course, our people are innovators. We put our own spice mix to make our own, We are good in adapting just like Manchurian is more Indian than not.

The diversity of food in India provides many marvelous taste in different cities..... Even if Ranveer tagged Delhi with that title, i mean Delhi food is still really good and one of the best..... Why do we have to fight for the best??... I mean It's all about your preferences and taste.... I personally have lived a good amount of time in many parts of India till now and everywhere I found something at par best in taste.... Whether it be Delhi, Lucknow, Banglore, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Patiala, Dehradun, Pune, Udaipur, Goa, Kolkata and many other cities..... They all have something so amazing that you can't get anywhere else... So let's just not fight on this and help others know what should they try when they visit different cities ❤❤ Above all it's food guys!!

I don't know about taste but honestly the hygiene level in kolkata is terrible and almost all the video in KZbin u see they show and u look closely mostly its from kolkataa no hate towards them wish the food was made hygienic so ppl can enjoy ..

This Emirati is a big liar. In his country (UAE) shahi tukda is called UMM ALI. It's the same thing with extra pieces of dry fruits. For the last 22 years I have been eating shahi tukda (with Pakistani friends) and Umm Ali (with Emirati friends) - it's the same thing!!

The fact that you get everything in delhi, the cuisines of every state, makes it the food capital. You do get close to the food in all states, it's just that it's not 100 percent authentic. You cannot imagine getting a proper North Indian in Chennai, or say Assam. You do get a proper vada pav, wazan, South Indian in delhi, if not THE best.

In order to judge the city with the best food, you need to be a foodie who has travelled extensively in India and have tried all kinds of food including the "forbidden" ones such as beef/pork. Delhi is definitely the capital on India and is up there (even literally 😁) in terms of cuisine, but I'm not too confident that many people would agree that it is the food capital of India.

I am from maharashtra and I lived in delhi for 2.5years and let me tell you u will get shittiest food in Delhi for the price that is twice/thirce for the same kind of food in southern states. hell even there chole bahture are shit which is actually north indian dish. u get good food in small cities like jodhpur, jaipur, luckhnow, Kolhapur, mengaluru, kochi than shit house Delhi. and he is calling it food capital🤣🤣🤣

All non sense. Street food is not good for you. It’s just good for cholesterol n Business for doctors n pharma. Good Indian food is always the traditional home cooked, like the South Indian or simple North Indian protein rich food.
