It's very unfortunate that all of this is wasted because of their stupid politicians, my trip to Algeria was amazing and met very nice people who btw kept inviting me to their homes literally after 5min of conversation, very welcoming and even tho some of them weren't doing well financially, they kept offering what they had again and again and again, nature is breathtaking, and it's very sad to see that I was literally the only tourist at the airport because that country has huge tourism potential. Hope things gonna change in the future! Cheers from Texas 🇺🇲 🇨🇱
@zinebenglish4 жыл бұрын
Our government is the worst, they have this policy of if a country has higher standards and requirements for Algerian citizen to get a visa, the government does the same to said country's citizens, i hope you understand the message sorry for my poor English. So basically it's super hard for an algerian a let's say a German visa so our government does the same to German visa applicants which makes it super hard for tourists to come visit so they prefer our neighbours Tunisia and Morocco.
@serjantpizza4 жыл бұрын
@@zinebenglish It's called reciprocity. Like why should it be hard for algerians to go to europe and easy for europeans to come to Algeria? I like the fact that its reciproct, but thats my opinion. My other opinion is that I am more in favor for less tourism because it deteriorate the quality of many tourist spots across the country, even thought its a good revenue advantage but very unstable form of revenue. And also don't forget that one of the main reason for less tourism is due to foreign politicians and lobbyist. Tunisia and Morocco chose to bend west with formal colonial powers and the rest of the western block with the US on top of that, while Algeria chose to go East of the political spectrum along with Russia and China. And can you guest how that goes on the minds of western media even tough our country plays a neutral role?

I confirm, Algeria is a great and amazing country. But the prejudices about Algeria are culturally very rooted. I am mixed race, Algerian and French, I was born and I lived in Algeria. I currently live in France, many people in France imagine Algeria as an underdeveloped Maghreb country, when not. However, the media continued to convey a false image of Algeria, especially of women. With serious repercussions on our freedoms and respect for our rights in France, and as a person… there is also an amalgamation between diversity, immigration and the refugee crisis shared by many media.

Algerian women are modern, it’s just a shame to have to renounce at our freedoms and Rights, at our identity, even our diplomas, only because some academics have proved that no, sharing fake allegations about us. It would be not too grave, if that had been not followed by coercitive acts and persecutions. For my part, I passed ten years of my life in psychiatric wards, with heavy treatments and fake allegations from health care team. I was health care professional too.. I often visit Algeria because I am deeply captivated by this vast and enchanting country. Its immense size means that one trip is not enough to uncover all its wonders. The landscapes are simply spectacular, ranging from sun-drenched Mediterranean beaches to towering mountains and expansive deserts. Algeria is also rich in history, featuring remarkable sites such as ancient Roman ruins, the fascinating rock art of Tassili, the Santa Cruz fort in Oran, and the ancient arena in the city center. The M'Zab Valley in Ghardaia, the stunning Kabylie region, and the impressive suspended bridges of Constantine are all testament to the country's rich heritage. Its cuisine, both rich and incredibly diverse, offers a culinary journey as extensive as the country itself. I highly recommend watching Yann Arthus-Bertrand’s video, which showcases Algeria’s breathtaking landscapes and cultural richness. This country is truly a hidden gem that deserves thorough exploration.

That's right Algeria is not well known abroad but instead of blaming others for their lack of knowledge of our Country, we should question ourselves what have we done to correct this fact ?

As an algerian I welcome you to come visit my country and I would describe it as a combination of lots of nature miracles actually I wouldn't describe it as a country since it's huge and has all what other countries have combined it's more of a continent ( mountains, snow, cold, rain, summer all four seasons , desert, lakes, forests, beach, space, history, power, wealth, hospitality, best food, best nature, best people ....) but our only issue is with the government we are wondering why we are not a touristic country and why we are not a known country especially since we have better history and nature and unbelievably beautiful places than a lot of well known other countries ( it's political some of it has to do with us supporting and protecting Palestinians ( our brothers) and some of it has to do with France our old colonizer that are not over us yet ( crazy ex issues lol) how come and we are a very rich country we have petrol and fuel, iron, plomb, zinc, phosphore,gas, Marble, wood, coral, renuable energies, animals, food, water.....) that's why our country and its people doesn't get the recognition they deserve because it's political.

Thank you for the great work you are doing. I am so sorry the most people in the world we living in can make an illustration about something without even do some searches to expand the knowledge about anything in life. It is disgusting that Algeria tourism wasn't exposed the right way. When you have an ignorant run the country. I am so grateful, still out there people like you, doing a wonderful job. Showing what Algeria looks like. Thank you, Sir. Tanmirt ik.
