What's worse is that Jennie gets the bare minimum. If anyone bothered to look into each of Blackpink's members individual activities since pre-debut till July 2018, Jennie had the least promotions in every aspect. Till this day, she is the main rapper that doesn't rap in half of their songs, only has most lines in 3 of their songs, least amount of brand promotions, no chance to show off what she does best which is rapping (this also applies to Jisoo with vocals - whereas the Lisa (YG dance school, Kiel) and Rose had opportunities (special stage, Masked singer, cover on BP yt channel), and doesn't even have the most amount of brand deals (lisa does). She has chanel and hera that promote her better then YG could and general public in korea that love her variety skills on got her booked.

But to imply YG favoritism which is what many toxic solo stans like to spread to generate hate towards Jennie even though it's untrue, doesn't seem right to me. Since their debut Jennie had the least amount of promotions from YG (no special stages, least amount of commercials, and appearances on the radio or t.v. shows) even till this day she has the most lines in 3 of their songs, least amount of commercials, barely anytime on BP diaries till episode 11. The only thing she got was her solo released and even then she had to push for it's early release. Everything else came from Chanel and Hera or her going viral for a t.v. appearance and the public demand to see her being high. Her position is the main rapper of Blackpink, something she trained 6 years for, but she doesn't even rap in half of their songs and even commented about losing her confidence in her abilities.
