the basic nasi lemak is the coconut rice, boiled egg, fried anchovies and peanuts, sometimes have cucumber slices, and it is included with the sambal. the curry, rendang, fried chicken and others are just additional dish. the laksa they're having is curry laksa which well known with the chinese community in malaysia. we also have laksa kedah, laksa penang, laksa johor, laksa sarawak and laksam. the char kuey teow in malaysia usually dry but they also have the kuah or gravy version...my all time fav is always beef satay with the peanut sauce.

i ALWAYS look forward to your malaysia food taste tests videos ! keep them coming
You should not eat/drink everything at one go coz only some food goes well or compliment each other. Roti canai goes well with teh tarik. When you drink cendol, try it with rojak or mee goreng. Nasi lemak tastes so good with kopi 0 kaw. Classic combos for enriching tastes.

雖然說台北的馬來西亞餐廳大部份都挺不正宗的,但這樣看著他們吃搞得我也想回家吃了

should get malaysian dishes from the stalls ....this all looks like from mall restaurants which i never go because not my fav tastes
In Taiwan, half boil eggs is a no no. 我們的半生熟蛋吃法在台灣是一個挑戰😅 沒有幾個早餐店肯做出來賣。

7:10 Laksa Johor????? I never eat this version before but I heard a Johorean friend said basically it's spaghetti + curry soup. I'm super familiar for Laksa Penang (a.k.a. Asam Laksa by other state people in Malaysia) and tried Laksa Sarawak before (basically to me as a Penangite, it tastes like Curry soup + Penang Hokkien Mee soup + fermented shrimp paste + coarse rice vermicelli) and Laksam Kedah (coconut milk curry with coconut-milk-taste-like broad flat rice noodle) but Laksa Penang is totally different stuff like different league. It doesn't taste like any curry. It basically fish broth + torch ginger flower + lemongrass + shallot/red onion + lettuce + cucumber + pineapple + mint leaves + bird's eye chili + fermented shrimp paste + Vietnamese coriander + tamarind.

From the look, it doesn't seem like laksa johor either. Yes, laksa johor seen like spaghetti but taste nothing like spaghetti nor curry. Laksa johor broth much more thicker

And, I heard from most of my Malay friends that Negeri Seremban has the spiciest food ever throughout the whole nation of Malaysia. I haven't try out yet so I have no idea how spicy it will be. So, just beware LOL EDITED : It's 'Negeri Sembilan', not 'Negeri Seremban'. 'Seremban' is the capital city for the state 'Negeri Sembilan'.

the authentic one no need to have the rendang or curry for nasi lemak. thats just add on
Teruk betul dorang ni makan..dah la tak gaul. Memangla strong dah kau makan sambal je
@JoanKSX11 күн бұрын
Saya makan nasi lemak pun tak gaul tu. Hahaha.
