Black salt is literally called as Fart salt in many Indian languages. By the way India consumes few million hajmola tablets everyday and not all of us eat for digestion. People when gather together usually enjoy that crazy taste and smell of tablets and hajmola sell those in a very nice colourful bottle. I live next to the pharmacy where they always sell in a box of of 6 bottles of different colours.

When you try different perfumes you smell coffee beans to nullify the lingering smell of the previous perfume. Is there something like that for the sense of taste? Hajmola has a strong taste. If you try one flavor after another the lingering taste of the previous one will interfere with the current one I think. Rinsing? Gurgling? Any idea?

as far as we know, they recommend bread. some white bread kinda calms the tongue and prepares it for a new flavor. no idea if bread would work for this, tho 😂 rinsing probably more efective...

Figuring these out is quite challenging. 3 out of 5 is not bad. Are there any interesting adaptations of international foods in Goa? For example, we loved trying Italian food in Asia because it was quite unique.

they had pretty much similar taste. except the cola one that was very obvious. hmm adaptations of international food...since Goa has quite good amount of Western tourism (mostly British, Russians...even stablished/retired here) I'd say the scene is quite "similar" to their place of origin. But that's a good topic to research and we'll do!
